Representative Todd Tiahrt, 4th Congressional District of Kansas, has recently received the endorsement of “The Architect” Karl Rove, and the Tea Party Express. This past week, he has received the endorsement of former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin!
Todd has been defending Kansas more than ever. Instead of shooting a campaign video, he was on the House floor this past spring debating the irrational and unconstitutional health care legislation being bullied through both chambers. He fought the Obama administration when terrorists were attempted to be transferred to the military disciplinary barracks at Fort Leavenworth (which is a 20 mile drive from my residence).
He publicly opposed the nomination of then-Governor Kathleen Sebelius as Secretary of Health and Human Services. Mrs. Sebelius has driven the State of Kansas down the gutter in more way than one. She signed a bill in 2003 allowing illegal aliens to pay in-state college tuition in direct violation of Title 8 of the United States Code.
He was the senatorial candidate present at the Kansas City Tea Party, sponsored by PoliticalChips.org. I admit I was shy when I saw him being interviewed by Darla Jaye, of NewsRadio 980 KMBZ, at the Tea Party. He even was talking with people in the concourse at Community America Ballpark.
When I called his office on the day of the infamous health care vote, his staff was still there answering the lines. They still allowed me to voice my concerns, even though I was not his constituent (I’m in the Kansas 3rd).
If you reside in Kansas, I ask that you vote for a true patriot, like Todd Tiahrt for United States Senate on 3 August 2010. If you are not in Kansas, I still urge you to vote for true Conservatives in your state. Because, we will light up the Second of November like the Fourth of July!
This was a lot of fun.
I saw Rep. Todd Tiahrt (of Kansas 4th). He’s running for the U.S. Senate. He was interviewed by Darla Jaye from 980 KMBZ. I saw him talking with the crowd after his interview.
I also saw Nick Jordan, who’s running for the Kansas 3rd. I voted for him in 2008, but unfortunately Dennis Moore was re-elected. Moore is a yellow coward. He refused to speak with his own constituents. However, Jordan called me personally during his 2008 campaign. A candidate who talks/calls his would-be constituents speaks volumes to me.
Among the speakers were Kris Kobach (running for Kansas Secretary of State). He ran for the Kansas 3rd in 2004, but lost to Dennis Moore. He brought a early to mid 19th century metal ballot box. He talked about major voter fraud in territorial Kansas in the 1854 election. About 2100 people were registered to vote in the territory, but many came from Missouri to vote fraudulently. They found ~6,000 ballots in that box.
President Obama’s second cousin, Dr. Milton Wolfe of Shawnee, Kansas, was there too. He laid it into his own cousin about that atrocity of a health care bill.
Then, Darla Jaye had all veterans come out to the field while someone sang “God Bless America” and Ms. Hutchins sang our national anthem. Then we watched presentation of those who served in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf and elsewhere. I was just speechless after that.
Apostle Claver was the keynote speaker. I was just blown away by him.

Mr Six:
I am writing to you in regards to the unconstitutional health care reform bill that was passed this weekend and signed by President Obama yesterday.
I feel that this “law” grossly violates the U.S. Constitution in numerous ways.
First, Section 1303 provides for funding to services that allow for abortion. This goes against my deeply held religious beliefs. Among those beliefs is that life is sacred and abortion is morally wrong. Being forced to pay for others’ abortions, I believe, to be a violation of the First Amendment.
Second, being forced by the federal government to buy a product and service violates the commerce clause of the U.S. Constitution. Many, including constitutional law Professor Kris Kobach of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, feel that commerce does not mean “lack of commerce.” As per that section, the government is granted rights to regulate interstate commerce, but not the lack thereof between the public, the government, and/or private entities.
Third, the taxes and fines attempted to be levied by the government violate the Eighth Amendment in that it punishes those who elect not to buy insurance.
Lastly, being forced to have insurance violates both the Ninth and Tenth Amendments in that I believe Health care nor health insurance to not being a right nor an obligation for the federal government as defined under those two Amendments. Thus, I feel health care/insurance to be a duty to be delegated to both the American public and the State of Kansas respectively.
In concluding, I strongly urge you to stand up for the rights of the citizens and legal residents of our State, and for the sovereignty of Kansas as defined and allowed under the United States Constitution.
Sincerely,
Derek W.
